Everybody else is doing it So basically everyone else in the world had a cute blog and mine was boring. My plan is to someday upgrade this to an actual website with different pages and things, but I decided in the meantime I would make it a little cuter since it turns out all you have to do is copy and paste something. Maybe I will get more ambitious and make my own background...after I learn to play the guitar, and clean my room, and do the dishes, and publish a book. :P

As some of you know , for Bryce's Birthday I went on a crazy quest to locate a German Stuttgart edition of Monopoly. I searched everywhere, called numerous companies, emailled companies in English and German and finally resorted to ebay.de, the German ebay. I found one game and bought it and felt incredibly victorious. I emailled the seller a lot of times to make sure it was ok to ship to America and to get updates. In most areas, of life, my problem is overconfidence, but I am very very self-conscious about speaking German. I don't like feeling that what I am saying is inferior to what I am meaning. I don't want to get all political But I have to say I am relieved that Hillary did not win the Democratic nomination. That lady gives me the creeps. In honor of her defeat I invited Barack and John over to my house to celebrate with lemonade and cookies. I couldn't take pictures of the little party but here's how it went: You see? She said she has the opposite problem and her hands are smaller than anyone she knows, (besides little kids) and that she wished hers were a little bigger. So here we are, both thinking the grass is greener on the other side. But it is not actually always greener, there are always lots of sides to an issue, and some sides have decidedly ungreen grass. For example: So hands, never fear, I will not ever trade you in for a different model! But I am curious now. My hands measure 7.25 inches from the tip of my middle finger to the base of my palm. How do your hands measure up? If you leave a measurement in the comments maybe I will donate a kid...

Apologies to everyone. I have been terribly lazy lately, when it comes to updating this blog. Here are some pictures of our trip to California for Sara and Bryan's wedding. Somehow vacations always sort of throw me out of whack for a few days but I am getting readjusted! Comics coming soon :) This is us at Disneyland! Here we are right after the wedding, it was freezing!!!!! Despite the weather being pesky the day turned out really well I think. The reception was very pretty and very tasty. And best of all we got a new brother for our family!
