Justin J has died of Dysentery When I was in elementary school I had a nemesis named Justin J. We battled on a regular basis and when he would win a battle there was only one thing to do to make myself feel better: List Justin as a wagon-member in Oregon Trail and hope he would reach an untimely pioneer end. Oregon Trail was just the best. (Justin J. actually turned out to be a pretty ok guy and now he is living in the Philippines building houses or teaching English or giving medicine to sick babies or something.) Bryce and I were talking about our love for the game a few days ago, we talked about it so much that we finally decided that we needed to make our own version with a few...modifications. Yesterday we began work on "Oregun Trail" (emphasis on the "gun" please.) It will be a mostly hunting centered pioneer adventure with a ridiculous amount of secrets. As with most of our projects I am doing the fun part (graphics) and Bryce is doing the hard work part (pr...

Tug The rooster has nothing to do with anything, I just like him. 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If you don't even have one memory then make up an exciting one. 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you, even if I have to make it up.

I love Google My friend Camie recently said she would like to get certified as a "spinning instructor." Probably most of you know what that is, so this will hardly be educational, but my brain instantly thought up several theories for what a "spinning instructor" does. Naturally, the first thought I had was break dancing: They must need an instructor to teach them to do that head spinning thing! Then I decided maybe it was something more tame, like spinning basketballs; but if that was the case why wouldn't they specifically call it "basketball spinning"? And is there really a demand for basketball spinning instructors? Then I remembered about juggling and how they spin plates on sticks and decided maybe it was something like that. Maybe they spin exciting things like expensive vases and cats. (By the way, Camie is a dancer so she could totally pull off the move shown above if she were a "spinning Instructor.") I thought of a lot of other t...

H a p p y 4 t h ! We went on a quick trip to Idaho for the 3 day weekend, and celebrated the 4th of July with my grandparents and aunts and uncles in Idaho. I love Idaho and I love being with my family. I also love that Idaho apparently doesn't enforce any laws that prevent you from blowing up bomb-force explosives in the celebration of independence. We had the opportunity to visit the new Rexburg temple. It is beautiful and has murals painted by one of my dad's college professors. We also got to see what my grandparents have been doing in the genealogy lab up at BYU Idaho. We rode their 4-wheeler, I had never rode one before, and now I am trying to justify trading in my car for one. I don't have too many pictures, but here are a few: This is Grandma and Grandpa in a field of Mule-Ear Daisies. This is the whole group getting ready for the annual canoe trip down the Snake river. (We defended our championship and finished first.) This is me and Bryce (and my cousin Becca bei...
Everybody else is doing it So basically everyone else in the world had a cute blog and mine was boring. My plan is to someday upgrade this to an actual website with different pages and things, but I decided in the meantime I would make it a little cuter since it turns out all you have to do is copy and paste something. Maybe I will get more ambitious and make my own background...after I learn to play the guitar, and clean my room, and do the dishes, and publish a book. :P

Vacation: We went on vacation, and while we played something sinister awoke in the deep. We fettered away our time, in ignorant bliss, while the beast grew strong. And when we finally returned, it was everlastingly too late. The moral of this story: Close your freezer Dummy.
