Apologies dear internet. I have not posted in ages. I have been doing exciting things, but I didn't have any pictures to share. Anyways, pictures of our adventures are forthcoming. A while back we went on a camping trip with our friends the Fiebers . It was great fun! Adam taught us to fish and Jamie kept the mosquitoes away from us by graciously letting them all stay around her. Here are the pictures Jamie sent me: This is me and Bryce in the beautiful Unitas, preparing to build a big fire, surprise! This is Bryce and Adam, having just slain the beast they are preparing it for a sacrifice. This is me and Bryce and my fabulous fish. I remember it being bigger than that... probably it just looks small in the picture...I have really big hands remember? Thanks Fiebers!

Timp Trip This weekend Trent, Bryce and I hiked Mt. Timpanogos. It was so much fun! We left at 1:00 so we could get to "the saddle" before the sun came up. It was Trent's first time and he was probably pretty worried by the fact that we got lost several times. (I was worried!) Despite our scenic route we made it to the saddle well before sunrise, and happily no one died along the way. This is the three of us at the summit before we slid down the snowfield. (My favorite part, not including the foot-rub after the hike was done.) This is Provo (the orangey lights) and Orem (the white lights) seen from the saddle before sunrise. This is us at the saddle . This trip was kind of dorkishly significant because two years ago , before we were dating, we did this hike and ended up getting together the next week. When we hiked it two years ago I nearly died because someone told me the hike was "9 miles" and I thought they meant 9 miles round trip. I wasn't really menta...

Justin J has died of Dysentery When I was in elementary school I had a nemesis named Justin J. We battled on a regular basis and when he would win a battle there was only one thing to do to make myself feel better: List Justin as a wagon-member in Oregon Trail and hope he would reach an untimely pioneer end. Oregon Trail was just the best. (Justin J. actually turned out to be a pretty ok guy and now he is living in the Philippines building houses or teaching English or giving medicine to sick babies or something.) Bryce and I were talking about our love for the game a few days ago, we talked about it so much that we finally decided that we needed to make our own version with a few...modifications. Yesterday we began work on "Oregun Trail" (emphasis on the "gun" please.) It will be a mostly hunting centered pioneer adventure with a ridiculous amount of secrets. As with most of our projects I am doing the fun part (graphics) and Bryce is doing the hard work part (pr...

Tug The rooster has nothing to do with anything, I just like him. 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If you don't even have one memory then make up an exciting one. 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you, even if I have to make it up.

I love Google My friend Camie recently said she would like to get certified as a "spinning instructor." Probably most of you know what that is, so this will hardly be educational, but my brain instantly thought up several theories for what a "spinning instructor" does. Naturally, the first thought I had was break dancing: They must need an instructor to teach them to do that head spinning thing! Then I decided maybe it was something more tame, like spinning basketballs; but if that was the case why wouldn't they specifically call it "basketball spinning"? And is there really a demand for basketball spinning instructors? Then I remembered about juggling and how they spin plates on sticks and decided maybe it was something like that. Maybe they spin exciting things like expensive vases and cats. (By the way, Camie is a dancer so she could totally pull off the move shown above if she were a "spinning Instructor.") I thought of a lot of other t...

Cursed Some People think it's all fun and games being an English major; but they don't know. They don't understand how it is.
